„Cooking for Solidarity!“ für RETTET DAS KIND Tirol
Am Freitag, 12. Mai war es endlich soweit: die vom InfoEck koordinierten ESK-Freiwilligen haben im Dinnerclub Innsbruck ein buntes Menü zusammengestellt und damit ihre rund 65 Gäste kulinarisch verwöhnt.
Der Abend im Pfarrsaal der Schutzengelkirche stand ganz im Zeichen Europas und der Solidarität. Die ESK-Freiwilligen aus ganz Europa haben für ihre internationalen Gäste gekocht und dabei sich selbst und den Freiwilligendienst im Europäischen Solidaritätskorps (ESK) vorgestellt.
Die jungen KöchInnen zeigten sich solidarisch mit der Organisation RETTET DAS KIND Tirol, zu deren Gunsten der Abend organisiert wurde. RETTET DAS KIND Tirol unterstützt Familien in Tirol zum Beispiel mit Soforthilfe, psychologischer Notfallbetreuung und Lernhilfe. Die Organisation wurde beim Dinnerclub von den beiden Vorstandsmitgliedern Frau Christine Kattnig und Frau Mag. (FH) Karoline Obitzhofer vertreten und vorgestellt.
Unter den zahlreichen Gästen konnte auch der ESK-Botschafter 2023 Dave Kock begrüßt werden, der eigens aus Wien angereist war. Ebenfalls aus Wien angereist war Anna Veternik. Sie hat vor einigen Jahren ihren ESK-Freiwilligendienst in Polen absolviert und über ihre Erfahrungen dort das Lied „Thank you/Dziekuje bardzo“ geschrieben. Dieses Lied hat sie beim Dinnerclub 2023 gemeinsam mit einem der gastgebenden Freiwilligen live vorgetragen.
Wir danken allen Gästen, dem Team vom Dinnerclub Innsbruck und allen fleißigen HelferInnen, deren tatkräftige Unterstützung maßgeblich zum erfolgreichen Gelingen des Abends beigetragen hat.
Der Dinnerclub ist ein Ort der interkulturellen Begegnung, ein Ort der Solidarität. Im Mittelpunkt steht das gemeinsame Essen, Plaudern und Diskutieren. Im Rahmen des EU-Programms Europäisches Solidaritätskorps (ESK) koordiniert das InfoEck derzeit sieben Freiwillige aus ganz Europa. Sie engagieren sich ehrenamtlich bei verschiedenen Organisationen in Tirol.

"Cooking for Solidarity!" for RETTET DAS KIND Tirol!
On Friday 12 May, the time had finally come: EuSC volunteers, coordinated by the InfoEck, put together a colourful menu at the Dinnerclub Innsbruck and treated around 65 guests to culinary delights.
The evening in the Pfarrsaal of the Schutzengelkirche was all about Europe and solidarity. EuSC volunteers from all over Europe cooked for their international guests and presented themselves and the European Solidarity Corps (EuSC).
The young chefs showed their solidarity with the organisation RETTET DAS KIND Tirol, for whose benefit the evening was organised. RETTET DAS KIND Tirol supports families in Tyrol with emergency aid, psychological emergency care and learning assistance. The organisation was represented at the Dinnerclub by two of its board members, Christine Kattnig and Karoline Obitzhofer.
Among the many guests was EuSC ambassador 2023 Dave Kock, who had travelled all the way from Vienna. Anna Veternik also arrived from Vienna. She did her EuSC in Poland a few years ago and wrote the song "Thank you/Dziekuje bardzo" about her experiences there. She performed this song live at Dinnerclub 2023 together with one of the host volunteers.
We would like to thank all our guests, the team from the Dinnerclub Innsbruck and all the hard-working helpers, whose active support contributed significantly to the success of the evening.
The Dinnerclub is a place of intercultural encounter, a place of solidarity. The focus is on eating together, chatting and discussing. Within the framework of the EU programme European Solidarity Corps (EuSC), the InfoEck is currently coordinating seven volunteers from all over Europe. They are volunteering in various organisations in Tyrol.
